MGM Resorts International Senior Data Product Manager, Analytics & Reporting in US, California

Data is the foundation that all of the Product Teams leverage to make critical decisions and build products to deliver business impact. The Data Product Manager is required to build the tools and systems necessary to make the data actionable, accurate, accessible and reliable.


  • Lead a team to build data foundation focused on how, where and what data is collected and how we make that data actionable for MGM.

  • Initiate and manage data quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve consistency, accuracy, and manageability for better data quality (DQ), uncovering patterns, anomaly detection, and streamlining data-driven jobs

  • Provide leadership for data analytics and root cause analysis framework to prioritize data quality issues to recommend corrective and preventive solutions

  • Drive efforts to document data flow architectures between enterprise systems for critical data assets such as Customers, Vendors, Products, Price, Cost, etc.

  • Partner with Engineering leadership to define a Data and Analytics product vision and then coach the team in building short- and long-term roadmaps for the cross-functional teams to execute

  • Drive build-vs-buy decisions in our data product development process.

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; or equivalent work experience

  • Eight (8) years building and leading digital products at scale


  • Prior experience in architecting, designing, and implementing various types of analytics and reporting

  • Seven (7) years of management experience managing data quality analysts, process analysts, and cross-functional team

  • Previous experience in the Hospitality Industry

  • Previous experience in developing data strategy within a growing organization

  • Previous experience managing high performance teams


  • Gaming Registration
