Oracle Staff Consultant, Client Services in Reno, Nevada
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

The Textura Client Services team is uniquely responsible for all aspects of the client lifecycle, including sales support, implementation, account and relationship management, and ongoing support of the TPM application. You will collaborate with all levels of the Client Services group, as well as the Production Support and Product teams, to deliver TPM to our clients and support project implementations by ensuring delivery timelines are followed and issues are tracked and escalated as needed.
Job Requirements
As a Client Services Consultant, you will work directly with Oracle’s clients and collaborate with team members to ensure our clients are successful in their use of TPM. By providing exceptional service over the phone, through e-mail, and in person at client locations, you will help our clients improve productivity, mitigate risk and enhance project communication through our cloud-based solution, Oracle Textura Payment Management. Key responsibilities include:
Lead and assist with the implementation of the Oracle Textura Payment Management solution for both new and existing clients
Manage a portfolio of client accounts – includes proactive account management, revenue forecasting, protecting revenue by ensuring client satisfaction, and driving implementations to expand revenue
Answer support calls/emails and work with clients to fully understand, troubleshoot and resolve issues
Opportunities to support TPM sales efforts – includes presenting demos, preparing custom cost-benefit analyses, and sending follow up material
Work with clients to identify, define, prioritize, and implement new system functionality
Lead web-based and on-site training for both new and current Oracle clients
Work closely with cross departmental teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
Demonstrate initiative to taking on increasingly challenging projects
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, finance / accounting or related area of study
3 years direct experience supporting clients via phone / email / in person, managing client accounts, and implementing software/systems
Customer Service experience
Comfortable presenting to large groups
Microsoft Excel skills required
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to solve complex problems under pressure
Construction industry knowledge helpful, but not required
Ability and willingness to travel (up to 20%)
