Description
Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Staff Accountant role with a growing financial services company in Reno. This position will be responsible for general ledger journal entries, reconciliations, and accounts payable review. Financial Reporting, technology enhancements and ad hoc operational reporting are other important responsibilities. A Degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of experience in accounting (including some general ledger) is required. Requirements
Experience with month end closing
Familiarity with account reconciliation
Knowledge of general ledger
Foundational knowledge in Bank Account Reconciliation
Analytical, quantitative and social skills
Intermediate ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Ability to meet deadlines
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
