Sr. Electro Mechanical TechnicianBusiness Entity: Hamilton CompanyLocation: Reno, NViJob DescriptionHamilton Company is seeking a Sr. Electro Mechanical Technician to assemble semi-automated equipment used for precision fluid measuring and testing. We're looking for those trained in, or have experience with, electronic/electrical machines or fine mechanism service or assembly. Electro Mechanical Technicians will have the chance to work in a fast-paced environment on industry leading equipment with cutting edge technology.Other Electro Mechanical Technician responsibilities include:Assemble simple to sophisticated laboratory fluid handling equipment and robotsUse of common test equipment, including voltmeters and specific product testersWork in a production environment assembling mechanical laboratory devicesRequires excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, high efficiency, and ability to follow process instructionsUse of hand tools, tweezers, and other light machineryAssemble equipment according to blueprint and schematics correctlyThis position is open for the Graveyard shift. Graveyard shift hours are 11:00 pm to 7:30 am.QualificationsAbility to work accurately in a fast paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotasExperience using diagrams or blueprints, and follow other written or verbal instructionsMechanically inclined with good dexterity - able to use both hand and power toolsAble to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to reworkProven experience with safe production standardsStable work historyBasic math may be required for computing quantities and simple addition and subtraction for counting partsRequires excellent manual dexterity, ability to work with small components and hand tools, and a keen eye for detail and qualityMust be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructionsiEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent3-5 years experience in assembly and testing of small electro mechanical assembliesTechnical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion PreferrediCompany DescriptionHamilton Company is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of manual, semi-automated and robotic products for precision fluid measuring.
