Fiserv Senior Marketing Strategy Specialist in Reno, Nevada

Position Description

This role can work remotely from any location in the US.

What does a great Marketing Strategy Specialist do?

The incumbent in this role is responsible for the identification and execution of custom content and engagement strategies for all Card Services marketing channels. This role supports the organization’s strategic marketing objectives, client and consumer engagement, innovation needs and Card Services’ revenue goals, coordinating with product teams, marketing staff, internal clients and colleagues, and with external vendor partners. Partner with internal and external digital design, integration and development resources to demonstrate existing visual assets, identify new assets and collaborate on how user experiences are ultimately brought to life across the marketing spectrum.

  • Build and execute marketing strategies to support the organization’s product launches, partner channels, Card Services revenue goals, cross-selling, support and overall client and consumer adoption, and other needs as required.

  • Ensure that marketing content drives engagement with target audience(s), which will vary by channel, and that digital content is optimized for performance and conversion.

  • Find opportunities to improve user engagement through strong marketing content, and work with internal partners and content resources to map out user journeys and bring those ideas to life effectively.

  • Look ahead to emerging channels to ensure strategic and tactical plans are executed with appropriate requirements for planning and implementation.

  • Author and publish content within sales materials, videos, content management systems, email automation tools and social media channels, to name a few.

  • Partner with internal and external marketing, product, finance, integration and development resources to bring marketing campaigns to fruition.

  • Draw measurable insights from digital and financial analytics, competitor data and available market research.

  • Report on the success of user engagement efforts and follow up to maximize opportunities identified.

  • Handle day-to-day marketing requests, content production deliverables and internal approval processes.

  • Performs other duties as required.

  • Responsible for performance of marketing deliverables as they add to the overall efficiency of Card Services’ revenue and strategic growth goals.

You’re the kind of person who:

  • Has knowledge of SEO strategy, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other content management tools

  • Has deep interest and knowledge of the B2B marketing space and emerging digital and payment industry trends

  • Is a clear thinker, organized, deadline-oriented and strong focus on driving results

  • Has excellent command of English language required (specifically, writing for marketing channels)

  • Can balance multiple tasks and projects with strong prioritization skills

  • Works in dynamic and fluid situations, and effectively navigates through ambiguity

  • Works with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes

  • Understands Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Has proficiency in using marketing automation platforms

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • You have 8+ years of experience managing marketing strategy, execution, analysis and measurement

  • You have 5 years of experience executing digital marketing strategies

  • Working experience in regulated industries

  • Working experience in financial services is a plus

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Experience with B2B usage of core social channels including LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter

Travel required : up to 30% annually
