Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

This is a remote/office based position which may be performed anywhere in the United States except for within the state of Colorado.

As a DevOps Engineer for the My Oracle Support Development Team, you will play a key role in helping Oracle with its customer support initiatives. The My Oracle Support application portfolio is used by Oracle Customer Support to manage and resolve all customer initiated service requests for Oracle products. You will be a key part of the team that is responsible for a wide range of applications in this area. You will play a key part in research and implementation of various Oracle Cloud infrastructure tools and technologies. You will be an integral part of helping setup everything that encompasses devops and the CI/CD processes/tools/methodologies. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field

• 10 years of relevant work experience, including programming and devops area

• Experience in bash programming

• Experience with versioning tools such as git & svn

• Experience with Weblogic Server administration: Installation, Configuration, Upgrade, Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning

• Experience with FMW Server Administration - Install, Configuration, Upgrade, Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning

• Experience with Apache Web Server/Oracle Webtier / Oracle HTTP Server – Installation, Configuration, Administration, Upgrade and Performance Tuning

• Experience in automation of processes e.g. kit building and automated deployments

• Experience desired in Docker, Kubernetes, Run Deck & Ansible Dev Ops Tools

• Exposure to CICD Tools such as Jenkins to automate build and deployment process

• Experience in PL/SQL & Oracle Database Administration will be a huge plus

• Experience with Perl/Python Scripting will be a plus

• Experience managing production/performance testing environment is desired

• Excellent troubleshooting skills

• Self driven & focused team player
