NH Learning Group Marketing Communications Strategist in Reno, Nevada
The Marketing Communication Strategist ensures consistency of the New Horizons Career Development Solutions communication across all internal and external channels to increase brand awareness, and engaged with current and prospective clients via print and digital communications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Create Consumer facing materials distributed across channels to prospects and clients including: blogs, emails, landing pages, flyers, eBooks, white papers, infographics, case studies, written copy, graphics, press releases sales tools etc.
Track communications and campaign performance to ensure maximum exposure and reporting.
Coordinate the creation of high-impact creative marketing communications elements internally with stakeholders and with external vendors.
Collaborating with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications. Constantly explore, recommend, use and optimize communication methods, vehicles and technologies to engage with various audiences, particularly as part of fully integrated demand generation campaigns.
Ensure consistent adherence to guidelines for all branding, visual and marketing materials and activities.
Under the direction of Management, will receive work assignments based on current campaign plans.
Remains current with market trends.
Any other duty as assigned.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Must have demonstrated work experience or training in journalism, marketing or similar field.
Ability to create and execute strategic plans effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Software (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, PhotoShop, etc.)
Experience with marketing automation software (marketo, pardot, HubSpot preferred. )
Excels at research, possesses excellent writing skills and the ability to crank out editorial and technical written material.
Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment.
Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
Eager to meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility.
Brings to the position outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Ability to communicate results to management and in a fast paced environment.
Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources; has experience working with others on a global basis; applies knowledge to coach and mentor others.
Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. Preferred majors: Advertising, Marketing, Graphics, Communications, Journalism or English or related field.
