The Team

Configuration Engineering (CE) within Global Release Operations organization is responsible for the timely and accurate implementation of Oracle's hardware product configurator and related tools. The configurator is used by partners, internal sales, and order fulfillment organizations for quoting, ordering, and fulfillment. Our software integrates with pricing, order management, internal and external manufacturers, and other backend systems.

The Role

We are looking for a qualified individual to work as part of a fast-paced implementation team to build and maintain the Oracle product configurator by writing configuration logic based on specifications, and unit testing the solutions built.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design, implement and deliver product configuration logic/rules and user interface (UI) based on specifications provided by the Business Unit.

2. Unit test the solutions built before final QA. Ensure your implementation integrates with the existing code base. Troubleshoot and fix bugs.

3. Determine optimal technical approaches and UI development in collaboration with product and UI experts.

4. High degree of interaction with peers and other CE functional team members to communicate design and underlying architecture changes that may affect the overall design.

5. Back line technical support for user queries on production configuration problems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Mathematics, Engineering, or other with Logic major.

• 0-2 years of related experience

• New graduate or graduated in the past 2 years
