Oracle Campaign Marketing Manager in Reno, Nevada

Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent. Proficiency in web analytics applications, strong database skills and technical understanding of website architecture and mobile platforms.

The Role

This isn’t your traditional B2B marketing demand generation role. Our team is looking for startups to join our ever-growing global ecosystem. You will be responsible for contributing to strategic marketing campaigns with the goal of driving applications to our program. The successful candidate will have a passion for building demand marketing campaigns that generate and accelerate sales pipeline. Collaborate and enjoy thinking through each nuance of the buyer’s journey as you build coordinated marketing plans across digital and offline channels. You are intensely evidence based: you know the course to improve marketing conversion rates and drive success, ultimately improving performance across the entire campaign lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to play an influential role on the Startups team. The Campaign Marketing Manager will manage and execute coordinated demand generation campaigns and programs to deliver evidence based marketing tactics that drive growth for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Defining Campaign Targets: Define the target audience segments and personas (startup founders and developers); their preferences, needs, and business challenges. Align with our Marketing and Communications teams to build targeted campaigns and content by persona and audience segment.

Strategic Campaign Planning: Build campaign and contact acquisition strategies. Identify - and adjust - appropriate mix of offers and activities to engage our audiences, generate marketing leads that open new pipeline for sales as well as strategies to progress existing pipeline. Generate sales leads and conversions, amplify our brand, and drive traffic to our online platforms. This requires tight alignment with corporate advertising on building campaign briefs for digital execution.

Content and Messaging: Work with Communications team to develop marketing assets that map to target audiences and stages of the buyer’s journey for online programs, nurtures, call campaigns, and events. Build clear value propositions, copy and messaging that maximizes pipeline, revenue, and awareness for campaign focus area.

Ongoing Campaign Management and Execution: Manage lead generation/nurture campaigns to reach target audience and meet defined metrics. Initiate programs to engage prospects and accelerate the close process.

Sales Enablement & Communications: Collaborate and engage closely with BD team to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned to sales objectives. Build campaign tools and resources for the Business Development team to easily maximize with accounts. Ensure programs are set up to flow to the right global BD team members and build communications to ensure they know how to follow up on leads. Serve as a liaison between marketing and sales, troubleshooting problems as they arise.

Lead Management and Reporting: Analyze performance and results and optimize your campaigns in real-time. In this role, you will supervise the leads ensuring they are uploaded and align to the accurate teams. You will also review metrics and make optimizations based on how digital programs are performing. You will also be responsible for working with our tools and marketing operations teams to pull and analyze reports.

*Required Qualifications: *

Minimum of 5 years working in B2B marketing

Experience in strategy, planning, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns with a track record of driving successful outcomes

Ability to rapidly learn, internalize, and use product, marketing, and campaign information

Strong organizational, communication skills; comfortable dealing with senior management

Solid ability in managing projects across various, regionally distributed teams

Experience with high touch campaigns supported by BD engagements

Self-motivated marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has delivered proven results with minimal oversight.

Ability to influence others through insights and facts; ground perspectives in data and tangible findings.

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

Strong digital marketing skills and knowledge.

Be able to work well independently and meet timeframes.

Have a balance of critical thinking, project management, execution, and analytical skills to manage cross-functional teams across different geographies.

Storytelling - Comfortable with persuasive and compelling storytelling when communicating in various situations, understands how to be concise.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous work experience at a startup

Experience working across geographically dispersed teams across many time zones

Other soft skills: execution oriented, customer-focused, goal-focused, self-starter, problem solver, evidence based, organized, ability to multi-task and effectively manage time, excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*Travel Component: *Minimal. Approx. 10% travel within the United States and Canada may be required to successfully fill this role.

Position Location: Role is based in North America and requires close coordination with virtual team. Open to considering candidates based in any US; will work remotely from home office or in regional office as part of virtual team.
