UnitedHealth Group Sr. Patient Care Coordinator - Las Vegas, NV in Nevada

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop teams across the department.

  • Provide outstanding patient services.

  • Complete daily and monthly cash reconciliation.

  • Update multiple data resources.

  • Interact with all levels of management and teams throughout the division.

  • Ability to cover overtime shifts on a rotating basis

  • Greet patients

  • Coordinate patient flow

  • Assist patients with intake or admitting processes

  • Collect co-payments, co-insurance and deductibles

  • Scheduling patient appointments

  • Manage the day to day operations for the front office

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of service related work experience, including data entry

  • 2+ years of experience in the medical field

  • Experience with scheduling appointments

  • Team lead experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English

  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • High school education or equivalent experience.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to develop staff members

  • Leadership skills

  • Organization skills

  • Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge

  • Flexible to travel between sites
