Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation,
employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
The Office of Project Management supporting the SMART 21 Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project, is recruiting for a Personnel Analyst 1, underfilling a Personnel Analyst 2. This position will be located in either Carson City or Las Vegas.
The incumbent will be serving as a module lead for Payroll and Time & Attendance, and will be fully operational with the knowledge to support the HR functions. Job duties will include participation in the following: application design/requirement development sessions, configuration activities, testing/training support sessions, identifying project risks/issues, deliverable reviews, status updates. Incumbents will serve for the duration of the project or until the work is completed in this capacity. Travel up to 25% may be required. In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in public administration or a related field; OR three years of experience as a Personnel Technician III in Nevada State service; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant.
This position requires a valid driver's license or evidence of equivalent mobility at the time of appointment and for continuing employment.
