Description

The Technology Leadership Professional 2 is responsible for all aspects of software or hardware product delivery and performance. The Technology Leadership Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Technology Leadership Professional 2 identifies and leads continuous improvement initiatives. Works with design engineering and the test team to drive product improvements from design to volume production release. Performs various engineering tests to verify and validate product designs. Supports product evaluation and qualification on leading edge technology components.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with application stakeholders to prioritize continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Leverage user and system feedback loops to identify opportunities for enhancement.

  • Grow monitoring and measurement of KPIs for building reports and dashboards.

  • Influence quality across release deployments through rapid testing, feedback, and validation.

  • Prepare content and graphic representations of application and database performance.

  • Engage application and domain architects challenging and improving system performance.

  • Work with network engineers to pinpoint stress points.

  • Quickly become a subject matter expert for current and evolving clinical applications.

  • Use tools like Dynatrace, DCRUM, Splunk, DevTools, and PowerBI to capture performance statistics.

  • Work with other site reliability engineers at Humana and third party consultants to define and implement new solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

  • 3 + years technical leadership experience

  • Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, DCRUM, Splunk, DevTools)

  • Experience with Performance/Load Testing (LoadRunner, JMeter, Selenium)

  • Experience in performance engineering

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively

  • Enjoys continuously improving applications, processes, and consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters of Computer Science or similar advanced degree

  • Possess a solid understanding of development operations

  • Possess a solid understanding of production support

  • Ability to drive improvements to process & quality across the organization.

  • Will report to the Associate Director, Technology Solutions, IT HPE - Healthcare Services - Development Support
