It is the primary responsibility of the Electronics Technician is to provide repair, maintain and operate equipment, provide customer support, and trouble shoot both professional and consumer electronics for the company. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Tours the property and monitors all systems to verify proper operation.

  • Provides quality control on audio visual (A/V) systems to maintain proper operation.

  • Answers telephone calls and responds to service requests for various departments.

  • Performs preventive maintenance on Audio and Visual equipment and systems.

  • Troubleshoots the A/V systems and looks for any potential problems.

  • Repairs and maintains electronic equipment such as audio, video, sound, and projection systems.

  • Assists with upgrades and new installations of complex audio, video, projection, automated control, switching, and distribution systems.

  • Maintains system service information and personal daily work logs.

  • Drives and operates company vehicles to work off property and obtain needed parts and equipment.

  • Performs all duties deemed necessary for the success of the department.

  • Performs all other job related duties as requested.


  • At least 5 years of experience in the Audio and Visual field.

  • Previous experience working with Liquid Crystal Display (LCD).

  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Worked varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.


  • Previous experience working with Master Antenna Television (MATV), Cable Antenna Television (CATV), Digital Music Express (DMX), or Digital Satellite System (DSS) signal distribution systems.

  • Previous experience working with large screen projection systems, small screen projection systems, video walls, and kiosks.

  • Previous experience working with fiber optics, Media Matrix audio systems and audio/video signal distribution systems.

  • Previous experience working with NEXSYS, CobraNet, 70V, AMX, Creston or another control system.

  • Previous experience working with digital, analog, audio and video processing systems.

  • Previous experience working with sound system design or installation.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
