What You Will Do…
Design and develop mobile apps for next-generation customer betting devices on the Android platform
Support new and existing products and software
Integrate with cross platforms: web, mobile, and tablet devices for customers
Collaborate with cross-functional business units in an Agile Scrum environment
Think big, provide ideas on how to make the mobile application better
Meet deadlines set forth by the leadership team
Work with QA/Automation team to test code prior to production release
Does this sound like you?...
5+ years of experience designing and developing on the Android platform, including Java, Android Studio, Gradle, and ADB
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications (Google Beacon Platform / Firebase)
Understanding of different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes and peripherals
Prior work experience on a product development team in an Agile environment is a huge plus
Development of applications using Google location services
Web architectures and services (HTTP, REST, etc.)
Persisting data (User Defaults)
Background operations (AsyncTask)
Experience with developing applications that are high volume, high availability is preferred (prior casino/gambling, financial, healthcare, insurance industry experience)
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to type and talk on the phone for extended periods of time
