GalaxyGaming Software Developer in Las Vegas, Nevada

The primary responsibility for this role is software development within a team on the Company?s core progressive product. The role works closely with Product Development to identify and prioritize features, requirements, and sprints. This position is located in the Las Vegas office.
Essential Job Functions
Participate in the coding, configuration, testing, implementation, and documentation of new technology products utilizing C++, HTML, and JavaScript
To coordinate overall product software development activities with a team of developers of our technology product portfolio, in alignment with priorities, requirements, and deadlines
Ensure operational product support issues escalated to R&D are resolved in a timely fashion, which will include direct and indirect responsibility for discovery and solution
Produce and maintain software development artifacts, such as requirements, schedules and other reports as required
Communicate information and state challenges to be resolved in a clear, concise and professional manner
Development and integration of casino industry communication protocols
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge/Skills/Job Qualifications
Development experience in the casino gaming industry
Ability to obtain a Nevada gaming license
At least two years of development experience including C++, HTML, and JavaScript
Proven record of on-time delivery of projects
Demonstrated analytic skills and effective problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Advanced time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills
Education/Experience
Bachelor?s Degree in a technical discipline, such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field and/or equivalent years of education and successful work experience
Previous experience in an Agile development environment preferred
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
Must occasionally move about inside the office to access office machinery, etc.
Constantly use hands/fingers to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, etc.
Must be able to articulate concepts and ideas in a clear, concise and accurate manner
