Treasure Island, LLC SENIOR DATA ANALYST (FULL TIME) in Las Vegas, Nevada

The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The Senior Data Analyst will create and perform reporting capabilities through extracting data from systems. In addition, the Senior Data Analyst will support upper management in the execution and sustainability of operational processes with the objective to improve overall company performance. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures.

Specific Job Functions:

  • Extract data from multiple system resources, interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports

  • Develop and manage databases, data analytics and other strategies to support and manage company-wide initiatives for both short and long-term goals

  • Performs property analytics and reporting to upper management such as labor and staffing, various statistical reports, and Ad Hoc requests

  • Knowledge of casino resort operational systems with ability to extract data for analyses

  • Evaluates current operational practices and recommends strategy to improve efficiencies while understanding dynamic business operations

  • Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department

  • Required Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance or Economics), Information Management, Statistics, or Computer Science

  • Prior experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst

  • Knowledge of Hospitality Industry preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Strong knowledge of reporting programs such as, Cognos TM1, Infogensis, Kronos, Infinium, Stratton Warren, Machine Accounting, Patron Management, LMS, SQL, SAS or additional database knowledge

  • Must have or be able to obtain a Gaming Registration

  • Must have a professional appearance and demeanor

  • Effective communication skills
