Position Description Summary: The Senior Application Specialist will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) application software. In addition, this role develops and maintains content and manages the standardization and distribution of customizations to internal customers. What you'll do:

  • Develops and maintains software process documentation and AEC application content and configuration. Standardizes and distributes customizations/innovations that come from the divisional resources.

  • Leads small improvement efforts or project and is responsible for project completion.

  • Works with divisional resources for testing and feedback and makes recommendations based on feedback.

  • Beta tests new releases of AEC application software and prepares for implementation.

  • Partners with external vendors to arrange demos of new software.

  • Provides advanced (Tier 2) AEC application troubleshooting assistance.

    What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related Information Technology discipline

  • Minimum 5 years of professional IT experience and a minimum of 3 years of MEP project experience

  • Knowledge of relevant AEC Technologies (Revit, Revit Server, Navisworks and AutoCAD) 3DS Max and Camtasia Studio experience a plus.

  • Strong customer service and mentorship skills to assist end users and peers with technology needs.

  • Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and work collaboratively is needed, along with strong verbal and written communication skills
