The Senior Analyst of Casino Marketing collaborates with the team to analyze the performance of high end database, VIP events and host related activities. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for generating insights about the high-end segment, the effectiveness of various marketing components and make recommendations for improvements that would increase performance. In addition, the senior analyst will perform ad-hoc research into the effectiveness of various high-end strategies and provide insights into their contribution and recommendations on how to improve. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts policies, practices and procedures.
Develop analytical insights on high-end events/customer activities and works with leadership of identifying the areas of opportunity.
Synthesize data, insights, and consumer research to create presentations that make fact-based recommendations
Review the performance of VIP events, provide insights and recommendation for future events.
Collaborate with the Director to communicate recommended approaches to senior leaders, and anticipate the future needs of our customers
Aid in identifying and recording best practices in the high-end space and ensure systems are in place to document the learnings on an institutional level.
Assist in development of key metrics of success, relaying reporting requirements and creation of insights into the VIP lines of business
Partner with key stakeholders to understand core business challenges, intent of marketing efforts and help craft view, tools and insights that best help in informing direction.
Perform ongoing analysis of segment and offer performance
Perform other job-related duties as requested
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or other related field.
At least 2 years of experience in relevant subject area expertise (e.g., industry or function).
Excellent customer service skills.
Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Master’s degree in Marketing, Finance, Engineering or related field.
Experience in casino and hospitality marketing.
Experience with SAS highly.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
