Position: RN Coordinator - Adult Trauma P/I Database - Full Time - Days
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the Sunrise Trauma Service Registry database: SUPERVISOR: Trauma Program Manager Nurse Manager SCOPE:In collaboration with the Trauma Program Manager, oversees the PI process for the Trauma Program and provides oversight to the Trauma Resus RN team when on duty.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, leadership,
and experience required.
Two to three years of nursing experience in surgical care, critical care, and/or an emergency department, with increasing responsibility and interest in trauma care; experience with database management.
Computer and Internet skills and experience required, including familiarity and comfort with the Windows and MS Office environment and wide variety of software application, e.g. Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint. Previous experience with a centralized patient information system.
Prefer previous experience in database entry and performance improvement/quality management. Will become certified in AAAM injury scoring within 1 year of hire.
Current RN Licensure in the State of Nevada.
Excellent computer skills necessary to manage and manipulate a large database.Knowledge of the surgical patient care environment. Proficiency in the review and abstraction of clinical patient information from a medical record. Mathematical ability necessary to validate and analyze data.
