GET, INC. & GET-NSA, LLC Nuclear Safety Engineer - Authorization Basis in Las Vegas, Nevada
Global Engineering and Technology (GET) is seeking candidates for the position of Senior Authorization Basis Document Expert in the Las Vegas, Nevada area. This critical position is responsible for providing nuclear safety basis support to the Department of Energy at the NNSS.
Work will be performed as a blend of remote work, on-site work at the NNSS, and on-site work at NLV as needed

The Nuclear Safety Engineer shall:
Assist the Authorization Basis Documentation Consultant I with management of the Safety Basis (SB) program to evaluate regulatory requirements for a nuclear safety management program compliant with 10 CFR 830
Have the ability to support the preparation and/or review of SB documents for nuclear facilities/activities at the NNSS and provide direct support to the nuclear facilities as directed
Lead development, maintenance, and implementation of the applicable SB documents for NNSS nuclear facilities
Requirements
Security Clearance:
- This position requires a DOE Q security clearance
Education and Experience:
- PhD degree with 5 years' experience, M.S. degree with 12 years' experience, or B.S. degree with 15 years' experience
