ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lead Maintenance Engineer / Lead Plumber performs daily maintenance and upkeep of the property equipment, such as air conditioning units, kitchen equipment, electrical maintenance, public areas of the casino/building maintenance and exterior maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General knowledge of computers and computer based facility oriented systems.
Ability to maintain a hand written log of daily operations and duties
Checks all electrical, lighting and temperature control systems to ensure they are functioning properly
Performs routine maintenance throughout the casino on all rest rooms, beverage stations, restaurants and bars
Able to trouble shoot and diagnose problems on equipment in the mechanical rooms after brief familiarization with such equipment.
Familiar with the use of hand and automated painting systems, i.e., brush, roller, paint sprayer, etc.
Reports and addresses any failures of casino lighting fixtures, electrical systems or temperature control units.
Maintains exterior of casino and parking garage, up to and including manual removal of snow
Ability to operate man lift in a safe manner
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to work off a ladder at various heights.
Must be mobile in all areas of the casino and have ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise levels, tempetature and illumination.
Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, stand and walk for the duration of shift
Maintains a safe and clean work environment
Other projects and duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
6 years of maintenance experience, HVAC, electrical or plumbing experience
Able to work from schematics, blue prints, sketches or verbal direction

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Construction, maintenance or technical background preferred but not required. Knowledge of OSHA guidelines required. Lock-out-tag-out, Blood Borne Pathogens and other safety training is required.
