MGM Resorts International Lead Analyst Technology Compliance in Las Vegas, Nevada

Responsible for providing guidance and oversight in all regulatory areas that MGMRI IT must comply with. Act as the IT Information Security subject matter expert for compliance regulatory issues as they relate to Payment Card Industry (PCI), MICS (casino minimum internal control standards), Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and/or all other regulatory requirements as they pertain to IT. Performs risk assessments as needed, also monitors, tests and reports on compliance activities.


  • Lead the SOX, PCI, MICS and Privacy audits as required to ensure all regulatory reporting and maintenance requirements are sustained for MGMRI IT

  • Actively drive remediation efforts with IT leadership and all discussions with various levels of staff as they pertain to implementing or remediating IT controls.

  • Ensure that all audit evidence is collected and provided to auditors as requested

  • Provide expertise to effectively improve compliance with regulatory, industry and contractual obligations, as well as information security policies and practices.

  • Provide direction and guidance to IT leaders regarding best practices and solutions that support business goals and objectives.

  • Work closely with other managers to execute a comprehensive audit program that educates IT and helps move towards the reduction of audit findings.

  • Represent the company with regulatory entities, have established expertise in resolving problems with the entities and be able to work in a joint effort with legal counsel to provide resolutions to issues.

  • Perform other job-related duties as requested


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Five (5) years of experience leading Information Security/Compliance teams directly related to SOX, PCI, and/or MICS (casino gaming).


  • CISA or other relevant, industry recognized certification.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of a hospitality/gaming environment and how the business is affected by regulatory requirements.

  • Previous project management experience is highly preferred.

  • Significant experience interacting with regulatory entities and/or audit boards.

  • Proven track record of strategic leadership Excellent experience motivating team members and building a cohesive unit.


  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Valid Nevada Gaming Registration.
