The PENTA Building Group is looking for an Estimator to join our Las Vegas team. The Estimator position affords a high level of visibility within PENTA, as well as the Industry. The Estimator must have excellent communication skills, and is responsible with developing, and maintaining industry relationships. The Estimator will have key business development, and targeted market analysis.
PENTA would require the Estimator to have an extensive experience in multiple project delivery methods across a wide variety of project types. The ability to adapt preconstruction techniques to Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Design/Build (DB), and Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), is paramount. In DBB scenarios, the Estimator in DB/CMAR roles, they will be tasked with managing outside design teams- providing qualitative work product feedback and design schedule adherence. They will be able to lead a preconstruction team through multiple, iterative budgeting estimates-balancing design goal and construction cost limitations to arrive at the best value.
Specifically, the Estimator leads all preconstruction services including: estimating, scheduling, planning, bidding, and budgeting of projects. Subsequently, they are responsible for project handoff and follow up meetings with Operations. PENTA would require 7-10 years of experience estimating jobs in the local area, and familiar with the local subcontractors. Experience in bidding $10 million or more projects with a hospitality, healthcare and education projects is preferred. This is a great opportunity for a senior level person to join the PENTA Team.
