Equipment Requirements for Working at Home

  • Reliable Internet Service Provider

  • 10 MBPS download; 5 MBPS upload speeds

  • Type minimum of 35 wpm

  • Have a quiet and private location from which to work

  • Understand you cannot be the primary caregiver for any children, people or pets while clocked in

  • You must own a laptop or desktop, headset w/ microphone, keyboard, monitor and mouse

Training: Paid, mandatory training

Pay: $11.00/hr base pay

Performance Bonus: Top Performers earn up to an extra $2.00-$3.00/hr, dependent upon your own performance.

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls from Vivint Smart Home customers & employees

  • Develop extensive knowledge of Vivint Smart Home’s varied product line and troubleshooting processes

  • Educate customer on the use of our systems and products

  • Troubleshoot varying degrees of technical problems

  • Answer customers’ billing questions and concerns

  • Create work orders for issues that are unable to be resolved over the phone

  • Be an advocate for our customers, creating peace of mind

  • Provide personalized solutions

  • Accurately document and update records in required systems

  • Generate customer interest by outlining the value in the services & products we offer

  • Build customer loyalty through exceptional customer service

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Type a minimum of 35 wpm

  • Must have a consistent internet speed of 10 mbps download and 5 mbps upload, provided by an Internet Service Provider

  • The workplace must be in a secluded portion of the home where passersby cannot view the screen or customer information. Preferably in a room with a door or divider that closes it off from the rest of the home.
