Requirements

Position requires solid communication, technology, analytical and management skills. Candidates should possess knowledge of all aspects of GAAP. Knowledge of SEC regulations and provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act a plus.

Typical duties include:

• Planning, directing and coordinating all operational accounting functions

• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results

• Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements

• Coordinating activities of external auditors

• Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process

• Managing the budget process

• Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes

• Evaluating accounting and internal control systems

• Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software

• Developing and monitoring business performance metrics

• Overseeing regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance

• Hiring, training and retaining accounting staff

Qualifications include • BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred • Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills required • Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus • Experience with Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, and Blackline a plus • Strong analytical skills •Accuracy and attention to detail • Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
