Kforce Business Analytics Architect in Las Vegas, Nevada

Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analytics Architect Summary:In this senior position, the Business Analytics Architect supports the mission, goals and values of our client by designing, supporting and operating the data analytics platform. In this role, the incumbent will offer functional leadership to the Analytics team and also act as database administrator and at times will function as a business analyst in interfacing with the user community or as a report writer.Essential Functions:

  • Act at Subject Matter Expert for all essential functions of the IT Data Analytics group, including, but not limited to, Power BI Reporting Services, Microsoft SQL Server and related services and software products

  • Act in strategic capacity for the Data Analytics team ensuring a roadmap is articulated, socialized and agreed

  • Delivers on the reporting backlog

  • Role model for the analytics team and provide advice and support to more junior members

  • Subject Matter expert for Agile methodology

  • Owns the SDLC for Data Analytics and reporting and ensure supporting SOP's are current

  • Utilizes available tools such SQL Server, SSMS, SSRS, PowerBi, etc.

  • Tracks and reports project status to stakeholders

  • Demonstrates outstanding communication and analytics skills to translate requests into actional requirements

  • Supports the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

  • Support user acceptance testing, verification and validation

  • Keeps abreast of industry trends in data analytics and data warehousing

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Any Microsoft 365 or SQL server certifications

  • Ten (10) years of direct experience in data analytics and database management

  • Ten (10) years of direct experience with the following: Report writing using tools such as: MS SQL Server, Power BI, and SSRS; SQL Server database maintenance and tuning; Views, stored procedures, functions, SQL mail, etc.; Object oriented programming

  • Demonstrated proficiency of the following: Windows Server; Active Directory (Azure and on premise) and permissions; SQL Security; Data extraction and analysis; Networking and DNS; Windows IoT Core; Data protection and classification; SharePoint

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical users

  • Ability to handle detail oriented work while meeting schedules and deadlines
