Anthem’s Fast Forward-Future of Care team is looking for an innovative, high energy, strategic problem solver to play an integral role in our cross-functional matrixed team as we power Anthem’s future and significantly improve customer experience in the crucial Access to Care journey within our Utilization Management, Care Management and Grievance and Appeal area’s
Our team’s vision is to Reimagine all aspects of our members’ Access to Care journey so they receive high quality affordable care at the right time and right place, and our providers are able to focus on delivering that much needed care. We will pursue end-to-end opportunities and leverage exponential technologies that maximize our members’, providers’ and associates’ experiences, improve health outcomes and drive medical cost trend improvement and efficiencies.
As part of this Reimagine effort, we will
Create visibility into the current customer experience in critical moments that matter in driving access to affordable high quality care
Define the reimagined future state customer experiences and drive cross-functional connectivity in what, why, and how we deliver to our customers
Create accountability for delivery of people, process, and technology improvements and subsequent goal realization
Advance key culture, behaviors and mindset changes to scale customer-centricity across the enterprise
Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
Work hand-in-hand with the Principal Consultant leading the pod, and engage a team of matrixed cross-functional digital, data science and analytical resources to develop, execute and synthesize strategic analysis to identify high value capabilities
Conduct strategic data analysis at an expert level across multiple data domains in support of the Reimagine Pods and present insights & recommendations in a easy to consume format
Collaborate and coordinate with associates across various data analytics teams to conduct the strategic data analysis across domains; sample enterprise areas to connect to will be Care Management Operational Reports and Analytics, Enterprise Data Analytics, Service Operations Insights and Analytics, Enterprise Data Science, Actuarial and Finance
Undertake complex assignments and projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge including data structures and application of query and analysis tools
Must be able to recognize when a strategic change in process is required and direct resources effectively and efficiently to achieve the desired business results
Effectively uses coaching, influencing, negotiation, and persuasion in interpersonal interactions while establishing positive, professional relationships from SMEs to executive leadership
Establishes and communicates common goals and direction for the analysis effort
Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff

Qualifications
Requires a BS/BA degree in Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration
12+ years of relevant experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background
Experience providing leadership in evaluating financial performance of complex organizations required. Excellent leadership, problem solving, organizational, planning, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Experience in identifying solutions to business problems and needs, very knowledgeable across products, more customer facing in recommending solutions, expert in data analysis, independent, more interpretation of what is required by the business as compared to the Bus Info Consultant job.
Ability to travel maybe required
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization including executives.
