The candidate for this position will need to have a high level of clinical knowledge and expertise in structural heart with previous/current procedural support experience with TAVR and medical device experience (mitral/pulmonic experience would be a bonus). In addition, the candidate will preferably have experience with training and developing training content.

The Associate Manager, Clinical Case review will provide expertise and clinical insights on the device, procedure and protocol throughout the life cycle of the clinical investigation. To meet the needs of the Clinical Affairs Organization and help ensure excellent clinical outcomes for our patients.

Areas of focus include:

  • Management of CT Competency Program

  • Patient screening and case review

  • Procedural reviews and best practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify ongoing educational and project needs. Create and oversee the implementation of the identified projects and ongoing educational needs in partnership with key stakeholders. Act as a core team lead and provide consultation on various internal and/or field-related projects with cross-functional teams

  • Provide clinical expertise on all aspects of product lines and/or clinical affairs site management and provide guidance and clinical insight to team members

  • Develop content for marketing initiatives and training programs and/or provide clinical expertise on new product development

  • Provide indirect leadership through guidance, coaching and development for team members.

  • Manage training and provide hands-on coaching and mentorship in the field for all new hires

  • Investigate and analyze ongoing training needs and develop training plans and programs that meet the changing needs and priorities of the business while partnering with leadership

  • Create and present customized technical content. Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and employees on technical matters relating to EW products through conducting and/or coordinating various programs, seminars, and internal and external symposiums.

  • Lead in process improvement projects by driving program effectiveness and ensuring overall stakeholder satisfaction from a content and educational perspective

  • Other incidental duties

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of clinical experience in the structural heart space

  • Master's Degree and 6 years experience of clinical experience in the structural heart space

  • Expertise in structural heart with previous/current procedural support experience with TAVR

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in interventional cardiology or cardiothoracic surgery

  • Experience with TAVR (Mitral and/or Pulmonic)

  • Extensive understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Must be able to work in a team environment, including serving as consultant to management.

  • Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

  • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

  • Travel up to 20%
