As an Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller, you will be tasked with financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Major responsibilities

• Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Participate in various department-wide initiatives

• Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• When working with business partners, ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls. Additionally, be able to provide support on special requests

• Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner

• Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

• Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

• Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

Requirements

• Current and relevant ERP system experience

• The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

• Skilled at time management

• 3-5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

• Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus

• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

• Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

• Well-founded grasp of financial reconciliation

• Accounts Payable (AP) experience

• Experience with account reconciliation

• Wide ranging experience with compliance

• Proficiency in billing

• Customer service experience preferred

• Proven knowledge of bank reconciliations

• Quality experience with commissions accounting

• Practical knowledge of commissions

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required

• General familiarity with QuickBooks

• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

• Vow to meet business deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
