We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Munitions Technician to join our Aero Services division based out of Creech AFB in Indian Springs, Nevada. Under general direction, this position is responsible for operating moderately complex machines and equipment in the assembly, test and installation of aircraft munitions. This position must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS in support of Company projects. Employee's in this role enjoy a Flex deployment rotation schedule while maintaining full benefits. Flex employee's work only while deployed or in a training status, receive deployment compensation, and live anywhere across the continental United States.


  • Assembles, disassembles, tests and installs a variety munitions items.

  • Inspects and maintains a variety of moderately complex machines to produce or modify munitions.

  • Troubleshoots and repairs systems following technical specifications, engineering instructions, technical orders and procedures and military regulations; documents findings.

  • Installs and modifies parts and assemblies; conducts operational and functional testing and adjusts systems to meet required specifications requiring long periods of standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Maintains munitions handling, aircraft suspension and support equipment to include bomb racks, weapons pylons and launchers.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or required

Clearance Level: Secret

Job Qualifications:

  • This position must be able to deploy both CONUS and OCONUS in support of Company projects.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.

  • Typically requires education al training equivalent to the completion of a two-year technical degree or trade school equivalency and five or more years experience in aircraft munitions handling, transportation and installation. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

  • Must be able to perform a variety of complex tasks and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of aircraft munitions handling, operation, installation and troubleshooting.

  • Must possess: (1) extensive knowledge and use of munitions machinery, devices, aircraft equipment and systems; (2) ability to read and interpret technical specification, engineering instructions, and technical orders and procedures; (3) the ability to obtain a security clearance; (4) strong analytical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report and assess situations and make judgments; and (5) the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required.
