Our Opportunity:

Charles Schwab Trust Company (“CSTC”) provides professional trust administration and investment services to retail investors, giving them peace of mind that their wishes will be carried out with the financial expertise, unbiased decision-making, and fiscal responsibility imbued in Schwab’s values. The Sr. Associate Personal Trust Consultant is a key member of our growing trust organization and is responsible for ensuring exceptional client and partner experiences from initial inquiry through designation and appointment of CSTC as successor or full corporate trustee.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner and collaborate with teammates and work directly with Schwab Financial Consultants, attorneys, and clients to provide a superior, white-glove experience for every partner and client, every time.

  • Effectively communicate with Schwab Financial Consultants, attorneys, clients, and internal business partners regarding the services CSTC provides, the assets CSTC accepts, and the information, forms, and legal documents needed to accomplish trustee designation and appointment.

  • Proactively participate and provide input into continuous improvement to onboarding policies, procedures, and work flow to ensure processes align with a “Through Client’s Eyes” perspective consistent with Schwab’s client-first culture.

  • Comply with state and federal banking regulations and internal policies and procedures regarding asset eligibility, OFAC, AML, and Customer Identification Program.

  • Actively participate in special projects and initiatives in the spirit of innovation, collaboration, and community.

What you have:

  • Bachelors degree or higher required; JD or CTFA a plus.

  • Experience in trust and estate administration or related trust, banking or legal/paralegal experience preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years client-facing experience required.

  • Energetic and highly motivated self-starter with problem-solving mindset.

  • Strong verbal and written communication including proper spelling and grammar.

  • Superior organization and follow-up skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or accuracy.

  • Collaborative team player with well-developed interpersonal communication skills.

  • Contageously positive, outgoing, can-do attitude.
