The Boeing Company Field Service Rep in Fallon, Nevada
The Field Service Rep provides technical field support of company products, performs troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems coverage, and resolves maintenance and operational issues. The FSR also interprets technical documents, monitors product performance, analyzes technical data, and evaluates maintenance procedures. The FSR also works closely with US military customers in an operational and training environment and will work with aircrew training devices on a daily basis.*Position Responsibilities*
Performs troubleshooting procedures using established processes for multiple systems coverage.
Responds to operational issues by interpreting technical documents.
Identifies, diagnoses and resolves issues for non-specified maintenance occurrences.
Collaborates with company organizations to isolate equipment problems not detected by diagnostics and documentation.
Monitors product performance.
Collects technical data, evaluates maintenance procedures, performs analysis and documents trends.
Monitors maintenance activities and product operational performance.
Makes recommendations for resolution of potential issues. Solicits customer feedback and initiates action to improve satisfaction with company products and services.
Provides guidance to less experienced field service representatives.
Develops and conducts ad hoc training.
Manages field office resources and maintains company presence.
Prepares required company reports.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):*
The successful candidate will have an excellent background in computing devices, networking skills, and troubleshooting computing problems.
The successful candidate will have previous experience with aircrew training devices—their operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in advanced avionics systems similar to those used on Boeing Defense Systems products. Excellent communications skills are also key in this position.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working with military aircrew in an operational environment.
Experience with a variety of mission planning products.
Experience working in a field environment.
Typical Education/ Experience:
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
