Position Summary

Responsible to assist Director in the leadership, coordination and supervision of the specified unit(s). Primary duties include functional responsibility on a day to day basis. The Nurse Manager has financial accountability and in collaboration with the Director has the authority to hire and discipline. He/she will coordinate the activities of the charge nurses, nursing staff, and support staff. The Nurse Manager will plan, direct and evaluate total nursing care. Practices within the scope prescribed by the Nevada Nurse Practice Act.



+ + Registered Nurse with an unrestricted licensure in the State of Nevada

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as an acute care nurse and 4 years in a progressive leadership role

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for healthcare providers

  • Master’s degree in nursing from college/university

  • Nationally recognized Certification related to your specialty


  • Nationally recognized Certification related to Nursing Leadership
