ICF is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager. You will be part of an established team supporting our federal client in the Washington, DC Metro Area.

The Team:

At ICF, our ServiceNow our Engagement Managers help support the mission, business, service, and operational needs of our customers. ICF’s Engagement Managers work on a wide variety of different programs support diverse customer mission areas. We build solutions that support citizen services - such as systems that help detect fraud, waste, and abuse across federal programs, systems that help facilitate wireless spectrum auctions, and systems that support citizen engagement with regulatory and rulemaking processes - all using the ServiceNow platform. We also support new and novel employee services across our portfolio - such as improving employee's access to HR functions, our customers business management and stakeholder engagement capabilities, as well as core service and operations management needs of business users.

The Work

The Engagement Manager oversees project delivery and guides the client and the team through the Agile delivery methodology. This position is within the context of an Agile team employing a Scrum development framework and standard project management methodologies. The Engagement Manager maintains communication with stakeholders, works with the team to facilitate Agile ceremonies, implements project management best practices, conduct project planning, assures contract deliverables are completed on time and according to established standards. This include advising and instructing project teams on process improvements to promote efficient project delivery and adherence to processes and standards (e.g. PMI and Agile frameworks). This position will be working directly with stakeholders and must be able to communicate effectively via phone and web conferencing as many of stakeholders work remote.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partners with IT stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute ServiceNow delivery.

  • Oversees ServiceNow delivery within an agile, iterative development methodology. Works with the team to facilitate and coordinate Agile ceremonies, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and communication with stakeholders across the client organization.

  • Forges strong, collaborative relationships and build consensus among competing stakeholders, leveraging exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Creates, maintains, reviews, and approves key project artifacts, including project schedules, status reports, system documentation, training materials, road maps, or other delivery related artifacts.

  • Develops estimates, ROMS, and assists with roadmaps and strategic planning.

  • Responsible for leading a team of 2-3 business analysts or junior developers, providing mentoring and direction on day-to-day activities.

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant, IT experience as project manager and/or scrum master.

  • Three or more years of ServiceNow delivery experience.

  • 4 years experience defining and delivering systems’ support strategy, including business analysis and requirements gathering abilities.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication

  • Team oriented approach

  • US Citizenship required (required by federal government for this position)

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
